I love bringing my most positive self forward and giving my full attention to a project, in order to produce high quality craftsmanship for my customers. My Background
When I was 19 years old, I headed off to Nepal to live as a Buddhist monk and to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Studies and Himalayan Languages. I spent many years being a Tibetan translator, traveling to many places around the globe as an interpreter for Tibetan Buddhist teachers. When I hung up my monk’s robe eight years later, I started working as a hotel concierge and chauffeur for Pan Pacific Hotel and Hyatt Regency in Seattle. A few years later, I moved back to my home town of Salt Lake City and worked as a home design build lead and carpenter, remodeling old historic homes and local restaurants. After receiving my MFA, I worked as the hospitality manager for Ronald McDonald Charities of Utah, creating memorable experiences for young cancer patients.
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College (Rangjung Yeshe Institute, Kathmandu, Nepal) and a Master of Fine Arts in from Naropa University (Boulder, CO). I’m currently earning a certificate from Louisiana State University, while being deeply invested in crafting and creating exceptional building projects for my clients.
